September 27, 2023, would be the 25th anniversary of the book, Harry Potter, being released in the United States. During this time at sunset the Empire State Building, located in New York, will light up with different colors for the various house colors. Red for Gryffindor, yellow for Hufflepuff, blue for Ravenclaw, and green for Slytherin. During this display, you can watch it outside of New York by watching the Empire State’s live cam for when the event is happening.
If you’re on the 86th Floor Observation Deck, you will have a special pop-up cart that is available, this offers fans the opportunity to grab Butterbeer and also will have free copies of the book for fans to take home with them. During this time on the 86th Floor of the Empire State Building, everyone in attendance will have to dress up as wizards and witches donning costumes and wizard robes, this way the atmosphere can be as magical as possible.
The final installment of the Harry Potter book series, authored by J.K. Rowling, was published back in 2007. Along with all the love and support for the book series, as it came to a close even from the past, fans still find ways to make a magical experience come from the anniversary of the final Harry Potter book release.
