Today I interviewed two individuals that are hands on and very involved in the NAHS Club. NHAS is the National Art Honor Society club that is held in Ovid-Elsie High School by the art teacher Mrs.Kellogg. Molly Phillips is also involved with this club and here are some of the adventurous things happening.
- What is your biggest project that you guys are working on right now?
- Mrs.Kellogg: Focusing on art work registered for the art explosion at the agro liquid building in St.Johns
- Molly: Making sure the plow is completed to the best of our ability
- What is the significance or purpose behind this project?
- Mrs.Kellogg: To advocate for our club and for the Ovid Elsie School District
- Molly: To show that art has meaning
- What was your favorite project or future project you’re looking forward to?
- Mrs.Kellogg: Going to Frankenmuth to build snow sculptures for competition (more excited because she gets to take two teams)
- Molly: Creating the snow and ice sculptures in Frankenmuth
- How is the attitude/ positivity within the group?
- Mrs.Kellogg: Lots of positivity, good involved members and they take the leadership role seriously.
- Molly: It’s really good, all are willing to work and happy to be there.
