A suspect who allegedly opened fire during a brunch in a Tennessee restaurant was arrested, police said. The suspect’s name is Anton Rucker, and he injured 6 people in the shooting, ending 33- year-old Allen Beachmens life, authorities said.
The brunch that has been interrupted was an Easter brunch. Don Aaron, the public relations director for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, stated that there had been an altercation, which led to the shooting.
Anton Rucker was arrested in neighboring Kentucky, police said. A total of eight people were transported from Nashville, which is where the Easter brunch took place.
Although the shooting did take place on March 31st, Rucker was taken into custody at a residence in Princeton, Kentucky, Nashville officials said late Tuesday, April 2.
Two men, one of them being Rucker, were having an argument. This went on until Rucker allegedly pulled out his weapon, but it has not been confirmed what started the argument between these two men, according to ABC News..
