Pannuci’s Pizza is the project of Blair Benzel and Lou Diamond originally formed in around 2014 and was the predecessor of Jank, Little Tyrant, Exilius Bliss, Fail Better (Heal Faster) and other projects of Lou Diamond. Around the end of Pannuci’s Pizza’s cult Philadelphia DIY following, allegations about Lou Diamond where proven and most projects disbanded. That being said to separate the art from the artist, Dont Tip The Delivery Boy gives you that raw whiney two-man slacker rock/ Emo feel. Their compilation All The Toppings is their collection of all their songs including live performances. A large part of Pannuci’s Pizza’s best qualities lie in their lyrics, strange guitar tunings and vocal performances. Its very raw and emotional at times which is where this disconnect happens because the artist is not a good person as you can tell from their lyrics. Dont let the names of the songs confuse you, Nicholas Cajun (Stole The Declaration of Pizza Depedance and I still haven’t seen almost famous although unique are far from hype. This album follows the pattern of emotional and un front lyrics about some sort of situation or perspective from one of the two members. Some songs I enjoyed off this piece, Pokemon Cards and an Empty Bottle Of Grape Juice, You know when the trojans got that horse and they were all Yeah this is totally a gift That how sure I am, and Wait You Know Who Frankie Muniz is Right? All in all I really enjoyed this album and although its not a masterpiece its something I will occasionally come back too. Light 7 /10
