Mac Demarco is an 34-year-old artist from Duncan, Canada. He started his music career in high school and was in multiple bands until he graduated in 2008, and then he released his first debut EP in 2009. He has releases six studio albums, two live albums, and three compilation albums.
His album This Old Dog has a total of 13 songs. It has some of the best songs on it, in my opinion. Some of these songs are, This Old Dog, for the First Time, Moonlight on the River, and Watching Him Fade Away. All of these songs are very indie rock and indie pop.
Demarco’s best selling album is Salad Days. And his best track is Heart to Heart. A lot of his fans also like artists like, Eye dress, Current Joys, Alex G, Duster, Tv Girl, and Salvia Plath. All of which have very similar music, they are very indie and relaxing.
Demarco would play guitar and sing on stage when this came out, and he still plays this album in concert to this day. Demarco doesn’t really have band mates, he is the whole brand and the band mates he has had don’t stay the same. He produces his own music and he has his own music producing company. All of his songs sound a little different, a lot of his songs are made with electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and electric/ Techno. Some of his songs are a little tropical sounding. He riffs sound very deep and soft. Mac’s latest album is One Wayne G which is his biggest album consisting of 199 songs, with most of them being plain tracks that are just instrumental.
