In week two of the in-season game, Aidan Hutchinson had a night he will never forget. He had a career game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He ended the game with 4.5 sacks which is coming very close to the Lion’s 5.5 sack record. He started the first quarter off hot with three sacks, followed up by one in the third quarter, and a half sack in the fourth quarter. He might not have broken the most sacks in one game but he has the most sacks in any four-game span in team history.
Adian wasn’t the only one making plays for the Lions. David Montgomery ran for a 1-yard touchdown late in the third quarter. Amon-Ra St. Brown had 11 receptions for 119 yards. The Lions’ quarterback, Jared Goff, didn’t have the best game of his career. He did end up throwing two picks, but he finished 34 of 55 for 307 yards, and the offense he led was 1 of 7 in the red zone.
