Israel has been striking banks affiliated with Hezbollah in Lebanon in hopes of weakening their economy. The Israeli army has stated that they will continue to bomb these key locations. With this, they have also started trying to move civilians away from these areas, warning them that they will bomb the banks.
Next, the U.S. is trying to find a diplomatic solution with Israel and the militants backed by Iran, who are based in Lebanon. The U.S. stated that they are sending people to Israel on Monday to try to find a solution between the two forces, as they are trying to prevent the situation from getting worse. This is also because Israel is preparing a strike against Iran itself, making the Middle Eastern conflict larger in scale.
With everything, the U.S. is also investigating the leak of classified documents, as documents came out of the U.S. that spies are looking into Israel’s preparing an assault on Iran. After the strike on many banks that were used to finance Hezbollah, many residents simply returned home, or to the areas they were staying in before the evacuation orders. However, when the evacuation orders were issued, many panicked leaving the city quickly.
