Little B is not really known as a skilled rapper but he is, on this album, he doesn’t seem very serious about making the lyrics and singing.
His personality is very out there and has ranging interests one being basketball and he puts a curse on basketball players, the most known ones are Kevin Durant and James Harden.
This album was also his first really big album collaborating with Soulja boy and Wocka flocka flame witch was a big opportunity. Lil B also had 1,500 songs recorded in july of 2010.
The whole thing is done with low production and I think it was on purpose because of his plans to not have serious songs. Some songs were just really bad though like Cooking Dance, it just seemed lazy.
The lyrics are repetitive but its a Little B mixtape you can’t expect much more. Besides this there were some songs I actually really liked on this album like The Summer, T-Shirt Buddens, and Like a Martian.
Like a Martian is mentionable because of how he uses his style to push boundaries. The Summer is also a good song but it stands out because how Little B just has fun in his songs and it feels more like a party song.
I don’t think this is an all out ten album but i think its worth a listen. One complaint is there is too many songs and some just are bad but they transition well between songs having almost no filler. The songs also sound somewhat similar but I think it is because thats how his style is.
T-Shirt Buddens was the best song on the album because the way the lyrics flowed in the diss. He also apologized for this and called Joe Buddons a “legend.”
Overall, I would rate this a 6.5/10 the good songs are really good but the bad ones are bland.
Lil B the based god.
