The album Fetty Wap is a self-titled album by the artist Fetty Wap. He released this album Sept. 25, 2015, produced by Frank Robinson. Fetty Wap is known for hip hop/rap, but most of his songs in the album sound more rap. Fetty Wap was his debut album, with only releasing 2 more after.
Fetty Wap’s ability to rap and sing in a song is awe-inspiring. Many of the songs in this album feature Monty, another rapper who has collaborated with Fetty Wap multiple times. Monty is a very good rapper and helps out the album with his distinct voice that most people like about them. Monty is featured 9 times throughout the whole album and all 9 songs are well known, for a good reason. The combination of Fetty Wap’s ability to sing and rap with Monty’s special voice crushed this album and ended up having the album blow up.
The songs in Fetty Wap are very popular and are enjoyable to listen to. His most popular songs in this album are Trap Queen, Again, 679, and My Way. My favorite song is Again because it is very good lyrically, and he does a good job of rapping what he wants to talk about. A lot of his songs in the album have to do with themes of love and the “trap” lifestyle. His songs sound very different from the unique beats and patterns that go with them. They also transition to very slow and fast really quickly, which is something I love about his songs. Lastly, I like the songs because they are always good songs to listen to when you want to be in a good mood.
In conclusion, I would rate Fetty Wap a 9/10, because the amount of good songs in one album is fascinating to me. There is not a single song in Fetty Wap that I dislike, which is impressive to do. I think anyone who likes rap should listen, because I can guarantee that they will like at least one of the songs. I recommend Fetty Wap to everyone because anyone can enjoy this type of music.
