Now starts the time when class officer elections begin to pop up. An email sent out on September 2nd regarding class officers for the class of 2024.  Currently, they have four out of the five class officers. Jollee Swender is class president, Rian Kirby is vice president, Braeden Tokar is treasurer and Rachel Spitzley is Historian. They are still looking for someone to fill the secretary position, but are pretty content with the group they have now. This position will hopefully be filled by whoever would like to take hold of the responsibility. Kirby says, “Although not as many people ran as expected, the officers that we have will likely work really well together throughout the year.” The Class of 24’ is excited to see where these officers will take them on hopefully their first normal year of high school. The officers have not formally met yet to discuss anything and are waiting to see if they can find a fifth officer.
