While membership is closed for the year, National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is making plans for its first project.
There is not yet a final roster for the group of 2018 National Art Honor Society (NAHS). The group has been in existence at Ovid Elsie High School since 2005. The group meets twice a month and does window painting around towns and other buildings.
Mary Sopocy a 10th grader at Ovid-Elsie signed up for National Art Honor Society (NAHS) for her first year. Her friends are the reason She wanted to join. A project called “The Memory Project” will be the first project undertaken. The work mostly, it happens in the art room mainly because of meetings, but also it happens outside of the art room. Mary picked NAHS because she thought it would be fun, and she really loves art. Many students both boys and girls take part in the projects through out the years involving many fundraisers and field trips to galleries and art schools around Michigan.
