National Art Honor Society (NAHS) students are taking in part a memory project. The memory project is where the members receive photos of children from the Philippines and show off their art skills and recreate the photos.
Out of class, the members of NAHS will work on the drawings of the children. Drawings are expected to be finished after Christmas and will be mailed back to the children to give them happiness and joy in seeing themselves but in a drawn form.
Instructor Laura Webber has been working with this project for 10 years. Members choose their photos then work on them until the end of January.
NAHS does this project to give back to Those in need. These ways of making children happy give the members the joy in their artistic ability.
