The Ovid-Elsie FFA March monthly meeting was held on Wednesday, March 17th, in the high school cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.

The meeting was run by the chapter officers and many fun activities took place.

The meeting was centered around learning about veterinary science. They learned how to properly give animals injections and even practiced by injecting an orange with water.

A chapter member brought in her two pet rabbits and taught the members how to properly care for them.

Ms. Tracey Hoffman, the chapter advisor, brought in her pet Corgi and demonstrated how to properly give it injections. She showed how to take the dog’s temperature and how to properly create, put on, and take off a muzzle so the dog is not able to bite the person giving the shot. She showed the proper area to inject the animal, and finally, gave the dog the shot.

There were a total of 21 members and guests in attendance.
