Ovid Elsie JV Football beat Chesaning 27-6 in a Sept. 23rd home game
Freshman Quarterback, Tryce Tokar said that the team needed to control their fumbles when asked what they needed to improve on. The team’s biggest competition next will be New Lothrop in order to defeat the Hornets they will need to stop fumbling the ball. Tryce led the team in passing, Tryce said the team strives in the passing game, and this will play a huge role in the upcoming game. Brayden Ormes was the leading receiver and Cohen Tyler was the leading rusher. Tryce is the JV starting QB and also plays safety on defense. Being a freshman this year, Tryce plans to play basketball in the winter and dual sport baseball and track this upcoming spring season.
