Anderson Traded to Arizona Cardinals After Outburst

Kevin Torrey II, Staff writer

Previous Carolina Panthers wide receiver Robbie Anderson was kicked out of their game against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, Oct. 16th. It was a close game and Anderson did not yet have a catch in the game. Feeling frustrated, he was yelling on the sideline. This resulted in Anderson getting benched. Later in the fourth quarter, Anderson yelled,” Why am I not in the game?” This comment eventually kicked Anderson out of the game. After the game, Anderson was unclear on why he was ejected from the competition. In the end, the Panthers lost to the Rams 24-10 and not even a day after the events between Anderson and the coaching staff, Anderson was traded to the Arizona Cardinals for future picks. A 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 seventh-round pick.
