NFL Shuffling Players in Offseason

Kevin Torrey II, Staff writer

With the offseason of the NFL being started, we will see a lot of moves between teams. So far no one has been traded or signed, but three people got released. The first one was Inside Linebacker Bobby Wagner. He was released from the Los Angeles Rams. He had an off-year as he is getting old from the perspective of NFL teams. Secondly, Quarterback Carson Wentz was released from the Washington Commanders. This poses a question for the Commanders if they will stick with Taylor Heinicke at quarterback or go to last year’s 5th-round pick Sam Howell. Lastly, the Atlanta Falcons released the former Heisman Quarterback out of Oregon Marcus Mariota. Although he was very successful in college, he got to the pros and has struggled his entire career. After his best season last year with the Falcons, they decided to turn him loose.
