MLB has finally kicked off its season. It began on March 30th and we saw a fascinating opening day. One of the biggest surprises was the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles have struggled to be good over the last decade, but they are finally showing up to win. For their opening day, they faced a good Boston Red Sox team. This game was down to the final inning when the Orioles picked up the win 10-9. A big piece of this opening day win was highly valued prospect Adley Rutschman. He reached base six times with five of those being hits including a home run. The future is bright for Adley Rutschman and with him only being twenty-five, he can turn into a hall-of-fame caliber catcher by the end of his career.
