Ovid-Elsie drama club is putting on a play. The play is called Anne of Green
Gables. The play will be on November 17th, and 18th in the high school auditorium. The
main cast includes Hanna Evans as Anne Shirley, Lacey Kosloski as Marilla Cuthbert,
David Lohr as Mathew Cuthbert, Mckenzy VanEtten as Rachel Lynde, Gabriel Alves as
Mr. Phillips and Reverend Allan, AJ Triantaflos as Prissy Andrews and Aunt Josephine
Barry, Rachel Spitzley as Diana Barry, Madison Orta as Mrs. Barry, Aubrey Parkhouse
as Minnie May Barry, Kenlee White as Josie Pye, Allie Minarik as Ruby Gillis, Icnacio
Orta as Moody McPherson, Nathaniel Gibat as Charley Sloane and Mr. Sadler, Beka
Cooper as Jane Andrews, Graisyn Confer as Gilbert Blythe, Kira Schmidtfranz as Miss
Susan Stacy, Molly Phillips as Mrs. Allen, Troy Haynie as Stationmaster and Jerry
Buote, Piper White as Mrs. Blewett, Anthony Zuniga as Reverend Bentley and Jimmy
Glover, Kloie Carpenter as Miss Rogerson, Amelia Cook as Tillie Boulter, Leticia
Rodriguez-Olivia as Bessie Wright, Napat Limpitheeprakan as Mary Jo, Julia
Rademacher as Carrie Sloane, and Kya Pupava as President of Queen’s Academy.
The play tells the story of a red-headed orphan girl named Anne Shirley who
lives on Prince Edward Island. She gets adopted by Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert, an
elderly brother and sister duo who live on a farm called Green Gables. Anne brings
unexpected adventure into their lives with her curiosity and imagination. The Ovid-Elsie
drama club has put much effort into this play so come and see it.
