The movie Paul An Apostle of Christ (2018) tells the story of the last moments of the apostle Paul’s life in a Roman prison. The movie takes place in 67 AD during the reign of Emperor Nero of Rome who is responsible for persecuting Christians which is highlighted in this movie. The apostle Luke writes an orderly account of the book of Acts and he guides the early Christians in the growth of the early church. This movie has a tomato meter of 47% with 38 reviews but has a popcorn meter of 83% with more than 1,000 reviews. The movie is rated PG-13 with an airtime of 108 minutes and is available on Amazon Prime, Youtube TV, and apple TV with subscription with each. The Movie stars Jim Caviezel as Luke, who played Jesus in the 2004 Passion of the Christ, and stars James Faulkner as Paul. The movie is directed by Andrew Hyatt with a budget of $5 million and grossed $23 million. I thought that the movie was very interesting bringing attention to how seveir persecution of the early church was. I rate this movie a 8/10 because of the limited story that is desplayed in the movie but there is enough of a story to be satisfactory.
