The OE Student Challenge will meet Thursday at 7:00 am in room C-14 of the high school . A free breakfast will be provided.

Congratulations to Mr. Topping’s 4th hour class!!!! They were the winners of the penny drive with a total of $81.12. All together, $269.69 was brought in by the classes. This money will be used to buy supplies for the Shiawassee and Clinton County Animal Shelters. Thank you to everyone who participated.

The FFA Fruit & Nut orders are ready to go. You can stop after school today to pick up your orders. Ms. Hoffman will also be at school until 6:30 PM on Wednesday to pick up orders.
Also, if you have been in FFA at all during your time in high school, stop down to Ms. Hoffman’s room to write a sentence or two on what FFA has done to help you. They are being presented at the school board meeting next Monday.

Attention all NHS members: The next large group meeting will take place this coming Friday, Dec. 12th in the community room at 7:30. Info will be coming your way about the gift exchange as well as reminders for those who still owe dues. Please read carefully through the reminders when they are delivered to you and see Mrs. Laurencelle if you have any questions.

The Astronomy Club will meet today right after school until 4:00 in E-11. Anyone is welcome and see Mr. Martin if you have questions.

Seniors Financial Aid Night will be Thursday, January 8th at 6:00 P.M. in the HS auditorium.

The Advanced Writing class is teaming up with ISE (International Student Exchange) to collect cans and bottles to return. Monies collected will be used to help needy families in the Ovid and Elsie areas. Ms. Blank is offering her “Push-A-Project” certificates to her students for this semester and next. These certificates are good until June 2015 if you have her either semester. Check your schedule for next semester and please see her in room E-1 for additional information. Anyone is welcome to donate if the spirit hits; please bring cans and bottles to room E-1. Cans and bottles will be collected through Monday, December 15.

The Business Dept. students are holding their annual winter coat, hat, glove/mitten drive until Dec. 12. Clean, gently used items may be dropped off in S-18.

Any off-season athlete who is interested in developing strength, speed, and endurance, the high school weight room is open Monday thru Thursday from 3:15 to 4:30. Any questions see Coach Long.

Santa is coming. Ovid-Elsie Music Program invites you to a night of fun this Thursday here in the High School. Pictures with Santa begin at 6:00 pm and will end at 8:00 pm. $5 donation to have picture emailed or mailed to you. Listen to the Jazz Band and enjoy cookies and a drink.

Yearbook candy fundraisers orders have arrivied. If you participated, please stop by middle school room 115 after school today to pick up your boxes. Please see Mr. Whiting if you have any questions.

Holiday week is starts next week. Monday is Red and Green Day, Tuesday is Twin Day, Wednesday is Ugly Sweater Day, Thurdsay is Holiday Wear Day and Friday is PJ Day. Along with the spirit days you are allowed to wear hats all week for a dollar everyday you wear one. Student Council members will be collecting money in E Hallway starting at 7:30 every morning. We will also have Christmas movies playing on that Friday. Have a Happy Holiday!
