Crisis on Infinite Earths on the CW just finished up its five-part crossover and there is much to discuss with what was done for the crossover finale. So much happened, and by the time you figured something out, something new took its place and there you were trying to figure out what happened. If you watch it a second time, that is recommended if you really want to understand what was going on.
Crisis was thought to be over at the end of Arrow’s episode but really it was only beginning in D.C Legends of Tomorrow where the world was reset, but the Anti-Monitor was still in the world and just lurking in the shadows. The fighting lasted about five to seven minutes and really was the opposite of what Infinity War and Endgame were. The Endgame was part four of the Crisis and Infinity War was the part five of Crisis, it seems backwards but it makes sense for what Crisis was setting out to do.
The ending shows the Post-Crisis Multiverse and what the different worlds turned into and it’s really exciting what they teased and what they made canon (meaning now part of the Arrowverse and lore of it). Earth One, Earth BL (Black Lightning) and Earth 38 (Supergirl) have all merged and became Earth Prime which is really exciting because it means that crossovers are seamless and don’t require people traveling the multiverse looking for help it is on the main Earth with all the help they need.
Earth Two now holds Stargirl (Courtney Whitmore) and the Justice League of America, Earth Nine the DC Universe Titans, Earth 21 the DC Universe Doom Patrol, Earth 96 Superman (Brandon Routh) from the (Christopher Reeves) 1978 and 1980 Superman movies.
