On Thursday, Sept. 23, the Ovid-Elsie Marauders Varsity Volleyball team traveled to Ashley, winning three sets against the Bears. Coach Kourtney Miller said, “OE came out strong pulling off the win in set 1 with 25 -22. Set 2 Ovid-Elsie worked so hard to find holes on the court and increase their serving game. They came out with the win 25 to 5. By set 3 they played great together as a team and the team pulled off the win with 25-23.” Top players of the night were DS Olivia Burt with 2 digs and 7 serve receive passes and Junior DS Ashland Particka with 4 digs and 15 serve receive passes as well as 7 serves with 1 ace. Next up the Marauders have Durand on Tuesday October 5th.
