Ovid Elsie JV Football beat New Lothrop 21-6 away on Sept. 30th
Our Ovid Elsie JV came back home this week with a sweet victory over the New Lothrop Hornets. Jayce Herblet was asked about the big win, he said what was most effective against this team was their passing game as Tryce Tokar led the team with passing. Sophomores Jamison Custer led the Marauders with 2 touchdowns while Cohen Brown had 1 scoring touchdown. Jayce Herblet has been playing football for seven years and four years at back and corner on defense, he plans to tri-sport with basketball and baseball as well. The JV teams next opponent will be Millington on Thursday, Oct. 7 away, Jayce said, the team will need to improve their offensive line blocking to come out on top.
