Woods Announces Golf Plans After Accident

Tiger Woods, a 15-time golf champ has just revealed that he nearly lost one of his legs in a car accident earlier this year on Feb. 23rd in Suburban Los Angeles. Woods fractured his tibia and fibula in his right leg. Woods stated that he will never be able to play golf full-time again. Woods stated, ā€œIā€™m lucky to be alive, but also to still have the limb.ā€ Although Woods will not be able to play full-time golf anymore, he still hopes to join some tournaments here and there.

Woods compares the sport to climbing the world’s tallest mountain. Previously Woods had a back operation and had to slide down the mountain and climb back up one last time. After the accident, Woods said that he does not have the body to climb Mt. Everest anymore but he can still participate in the game of golf.

Woods will not answer any questions about the accident but authorities believe that Woods tried to pump the brake but hit the accelerator instead causing him to go 75 mph into a tree and go airborne. There were no charges filed on Woods for his accident.
