Our Varsity Boys played at home against Byron on Tuesday Jan, 18th and kept their promising winning streak. With this win the Marauders are now 8-0 for the season and 6-0 in the conference looking to finish 1st. The boys played a great game, starting off just a little rough but starting the second quarter and half the Marauders stacked up points on the Eagles. The final score of the game was 60-27. Most of Ovid Elsies players were on the stat boards with points. Some of the main roles were Axel Newel having the team high with 18 points, followed by Logan Thompson with 10, Dylan Carman with 9 and Clay Wittenburg with 8 and Jacob Tomasek ending with 7 points. Ovid Elsie plans on keeping up this undefeated season. The next game will be at home this Friday Night Jan, 21st against Montrose. The Marauders will also be having their senior night.
