The Ovid-Elsie Girls Varsity Soccer team kicked off their season by defeating Bath (5-2) Tuesday April 5th. Coach Craig Thelen said, “Bath definitely came out with something to prove and got an early lead on us. I was happy with how the team responded to adversity, displaying outstanding mental toughness throughout the game. Bath never let up and this was a good test for the Marauders. Caitlyn Walter played all over the pitch for OE and did a wonderful job wherever she was needed. All of the ladies had an outstanding game tonight and I appreciate the team first attitude that everyone displayed.”
