K-12 by Melanie Martinez was released in 2019, there are 12 songs on the album. She has two other albums Crybaby and her newest release Portals.
Some of my favorite songs from the album are High School Sweethearts which is about the ways to get to her heart, and Class Fight which is about not getting along with some of your peers.
I think the K-12 album could resonate with a lot of people but specifically people still in school because the album is all about life experiences. All the songs on the album have a very soft calming melody
Melanie Martinez has been making music since 2008. She has a very unique singing style. She is very creative, and a lot of her music is very alternative or indie.
