What does DogWatching 2 hold within it that makes the game better than the first one. The game within a whole has better and harder mechanics and more content scarier things within this game. For starters the game’s cast of characters has been remodeled and the first game characters were tossed in the back and left to rot. They shouldn’t be able to work with how broken they are, right? That is not the case the game is separated into 2 separate nights. When clocking in the office the 1st night will say “the night of the improved has begun.”
The will introduce the new characters of the game which are the avenger animatronics which include the new Freddie, Bonnie, Chica, and withered Foxy. The new gameplay introduces the new mask mechanic which if you have it on for too long you will die to the new toxic meter, this meter goes down very slowly which means you will have to use your mask only in emergencies. The office gameplay is mainly free roam you put in the main office with 3 entry ways for enemies to come from.
When thinking about your surroundings you must remember where they come from. They are all set to different speeds. The game is free roam as well but with the puppets box in your office you can’t leave it for too long or else you will die. The sounds change no music you hear everything and you will never know the next move of the animatronics. Withered foxy will rush at you faster than anything in the game including the player the only thing to stop him is to flash him with the light.
The 2nd night is without a doubt was straight hell when clocking in it will say “The night of The Worn has begun” which means the old animatronics are alive Freddie bear likes to move in bursts so you have to keep moving or he will kill you the mas don’t work on him he always knows where you are. After dealing with everyone else when the clock hits three everyone disappears and the message “THE MANGLED HAS BEEN AWOKEN” which means the final night boss fight the mangled will come out has all the mechanics of the other characters faster than anyone and will change how they attack and makes it clear that they change by the color of their eye dating this night you will be set free from the location but it gives you time to search for clues and lore about the game that will tell you about the 3rd game.
Overall after playing this game was fun and scary so I rate this another 10/10 major improvement from the last so if I could give a better score I would.
