Is this “man” real or not? Slenderman is often seen as an urban legend – we people have been given actual videotapes of this man and the complete weird, yet disturbing, and creepy acts that this man is known for or actually does. But first, let’s cover the actual facts about this man.
Slender man is supposed to be as tall as trees and is able to stretch his body to fantastic lengths. He wears a black suit and tie, and has no face. Although the legend says he has been depicted with many arms, no one really knows. This “man” is an abductor and usually centers his abductions around kids.
There were many similar instances where people were horribly mutilated in the woods, but these acts were strangely carried out with precision. The Slenderman leaves no evidence of his presence, or what he had initially done to a person.
He can only be seen on camera, in your dreams when you’re his next victim, or in photos of large groups of kids. Lately, people have been beginning to believe he chooses who can see him. He is mainly or mostly seen in wooded areas and around children.
He can distort anything electrically charged or magnetically charged. The Slenderman is known to have people that he uses as proxies to do his work for him. These people can be identified by wearing masks or leaving behind a strange symbol of an eye or a circle with an x through it. Slenderman has inspired lots of pictures, books, and videos.
The most popular ones are Marble Hornets, which is about a film student’s encounter with this creature. They can be found on YouTube, along with other videos of the Slenderman. There is not too much proof on the Slenderman to prove if he is real, or if he is fake.
There have been many cases where crime scenes or disappearances can’t be explained, and most people blame the Slenderman for them. Witnesses have claimed to have seen him. One in particular was caught on an interview tape at a police station in 1998, where a witness and an officer both disappeared. The only evidence that was found that they had been in the interview room were two bullet casings. This tape can be heard in a documentary called “The Slender Suits” on YouTube. I think that there is a possibility that Slenderman could be out there, but there is also not enough to say that he is real.
I think this could make anyone incredibly paranoid. The Slenderman is a great mystery to not just the U.S., but all over the world. You will have to decide on whether he is real or not. In my own opinion, I believe that anything is possible, and with all of this given information he could be. But you never know, it could be a fat hoax.
