Ovid-Elsie Girls Varsity Soccer team beat Mt.Morris 8-0 April 26th, 2019, at home. Goals were made by Kaylee Sutliff assisted from Josie Nash, Kalista Bancroft assisted from Maddison Cunningham, Madilyn Bancroft assisted by Raygan Fluharty, Josie Nash assisted from ylee Sevenski, Josie Nash from Kaylee Sutliff, Kylee Sevenski from Emma Del Bosque, Josie Nash from Tristin Ziola, and Josie Nash unassisted. Alexis Kusnier (Goalie) had onesave on one shot, and Mt.Morris goalie had six saves on 14 shots. Coach Craig Thelen said this about the game,  “It was nice to see our girls able to find the back of the net on a consistent basis tonight. I was pleased with our passing and aggression tonight. Our midfielders did a great job of finding through balls to provide tremendous scoring opportunities and Josie Nash calmly delivered many of them to the back of the net for us. Our defense did a nice job of not giving up any scoring opportunities, but I was most impressed with their ability to join in and support the offense.”
