In game six of the Knicks vs 76ers series on May 2nd, the 76ers organization bought 2000 game tickets as a way to shut out the Knicks fans. This action did not prove to be effective as the 76ers ended losing this game 118-115. The reason that they did this is because the Knicks fans can get extremely loud in the garden and this was there hopeful plan that would get them the win. Instead this just turned out to be a massive waste of money. The 76ers were supposed to give the Knicks a run for their money but instead lost in game 6. In this game Jalen Brunson lead the Knicks with a total of 41 points and on the other end Joel Embiid for the 76ers had 39. The Knicks are now playing the Pacers which should be a clean sweep for the Knicks but who knows how it will go because it is basketball.
