Sleeping at Last Calms the Mind

Sleeping at Last Calms the Mind

Sleeping at Last is an orchestra based band that makes covers and original songs. Ryan O’Neil is the lead singer of the band, and at the moment, the only member of the band. There have been other members, but at the moment O’Neil is the singer, producer and composer of the music. The band is based in Wheaton, Illinois. The band originally formed in 1999, and is still producing music today. The number of pieces for the orchestra is unlisted.

Their most recent song was a cover of Can’t Smile Without You by Barry Manilow. Other Songs they have done covers of include I’m Gonna Be by The Proclaimers, Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler and Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. They have an album dedicated to the enneagram personality types, each of the nine songs have a spiritual meaning to those with the personality type of the song. They have an album about outer space, each of the songs have a beautiful orchestral background with inspiring lyrics.

Most of their music is calming, and they have instrumental music that is easy to study to.

For that I would give them a 10/10. Sleeping at Last is an amazing band, who deserves all of  the attention they get, and more. If more people listened to them, more people would be calm, and maybe even happy.
