Clouds Based on True Story

The Disney movie Clouds is based on a true story. Clouds narrates the real story of Zach Sobiech, a young, Lakeland, Minnesota resident who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, which is an aggressive tumour of the bone when he was only 14. In this movie Fin Argus plays the role of the main character Zach Sobiech. 22- year-old Sabrina Carpenter plays Sammy Brown. Sammy is Zachs best friend. They both secretly liked each other, but he ended up getting a girlfriend and Sammy got jealous. Madison Iseman plays Amy Adamle. Amy is Zach’s girlfriend. They got together towards the end of junior year. Barely a few weeks into the relationship, Zach was told that he was terminal and had only a year to live. Amy revealed that the relationship became very serious as a result of this. The couple remained together until the end of Zach’s life. Lastly, Neve Campbell played the role of Zach’s mother Laura Sobeich. She lives in Minnesota with her husband where they have raised four children: one married, one in college, one in heaven, and one in high school. Laura has spent the past three years walking the road of cancer with her teenage son, Zach, and blogging about their battle with the disease until his life ended. Clouds was filmed on Oct 19th, 2019. Most of it was filmed in Baie-D’Urfe, Quebec, Canada, and in Sainte-Anne-Bellevue. The movie is rated PG-13 and might not be very appropriate for kids over the age of 11 or 12. It is around 2 hours long and was released on Oct 16, 2020. A lot of people think clouds is a moving and touching movie. It is also a very emotional movie because in the end of the movie cancer ends up losing his battle to cancer and it’s very sad. Zach also forms a band named “a firm handshake” and records the inspirational hit single “clouds.”The people in the band were his brother and his best friend. Rotten Tomatoes rated this movie PG-13 and also rated it a 7/10.
