Halloween Ends Finally Puts Michael Myers Character To Bed

Megean Boles, Staff writer

The movie Halloween Ends was a good movie. I mean it was ok but it could have been better. There was some parts that were fun but like shouldn’t have been funny. The movie is not really made for younger kids. The movie is more for teenagers or adults. The movie is rated R. The movie takes place four years after her last encounter with the masked killer Michael Myers. Laurie Strode is living with her granddaughter and trying to finish her memoir. Myers hasn’t been seen since, and Laurie finally decides to liberate herself from rage and fear and embrace life. However, when a young man stands accused of murdering a boy that he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that forces Laurie to confront the evil she can’t control. The movie was released Oct. 14, 2022. The director is David Gordon Green. The movie Halloween ends as a part of the Halloween film series.   According to a review from Rotten Tomatoes “ people like it but they also think that the movie could have been better. People were saying that it’s a good thing that Myers and his moldy old mask were laid to rest and  that nobody decides to disinter him yet again.” I think that all of the reviews are fairly the same kinda feeling that I had about the movie. It was good, but there were ways it could have been better. There were things that could have been different. So people say that it could have been scarier.  I would recommend this movie if you are wanting a little fright, but if you’re wanting it to be really scary I wouldn’t recommend watching it. 3/5
