Kung Fu Panda 4 Features Great Visuals

Kung Fu Panda 4 was directed by Mike Mitchell and was released on March 8th, 2024. Jack Black returns as Po which many fans love. The movie was given a budget of 85 million and has made roughly 58 million at the box office.

Kung Fu Panda 4 takes place after the 3rd installment where Po is given Master Oogway’s staff. Shifu says Po must find a new dragon warrior replacement, as he is now pushed to be a master and mentor. On his journey, he finds a fox who helps him fight a master villain. During this conflict, Po meets the villains from his past. Most people loved this movie with it receiving an 86% on the audience score but only a 71% on the Tomatometer. Many gave the movie praise while others gave it harsh treatment with their criticism. One person gave it a 3/4 saying it’s a good continuation of Po’s story and a good conclusion to him being the dragon warrior. Another gave it a 3/5 saying it loses its main focus on Po in favor of new characters which harms the movie overall. But the movie itself is well-liked and some people have even gone and watched it more than once in theaters.

Overall, I would give this movie an 8/10. It is a great addition to the series with the visuals being great and the return of villains being something I’ve wanted for a while. The movie doesn’t give the villains time to shine though. They left just as quickly as they arrived and barely gave any time to talk to Po or other characters. I was expecting something out of the 2nd or 3rd movie villains but barely anything was said. I also didn’t like how easily the past villains were just okay with Po. I could go on and on about what I didn’t like about the ending but it’s a small bad in the huge good that the movie brings. I would recommend this movie to anyone who loves animals or just in general funny action movies.
