introduction to her wonderful vocals. This album features 14 songs and is categorized
as an alternative R&B album.
SZA has blown up in the media recently, mostly gaining popularity on TikTok and
Instagram. Two songs from Ctrl that are very popular are Broken Clocks and Prom.
These tracks are known for their upbeat vibes and amazing lyrics.
Barry Drewmore and Doves In The Wind featuring Kendrick Lamar are two tracks
that personally stand out to me. Barry Drewmore is a song in which SZA expresses
feeling like she isn’t girly enough for someone but ultimately realizes that she shouldn’t
have to change herself for a boy to love her. Doves In The Wind talks about how SZA
believes she’s too good for someone who is, in her words, a bum.
In conclusion, Ctrl by SZA is a great album and I would recommend it! If you like
this album, you should try her other music. 10/10.
