The restaurant we chose to review was a Chinese buffet located in St. Johns known as Jade Garden Buffet We visited this restaurant on Monday, January 5th. The restaurant has a 4.2 star rating and shows it is about $10-20 per person, which is accurate from my experience. When we arrived it was a pleasant experience as the hostess and waitresses were friendly and had us seated as soon as we got there. The restaurant itself is also pretty aesthetically pleasing inside with the decor and shelf of unique items they have for sale.
Once we were seated with drinks, we went to get our first plate of food, which was not easy because they had such a variety of amazing options. Some things that stood out to me were the sesame chicken, crab rangoons, potatoes, lo mein and many many more, which doesn’t even include all of their desserts. Not only did it look and smell good but it tasted amazing.
Although my overall experience was great, my only issue was that I did feel cut off from eating after receiving the receipt when we hadn’t been done with our plates, and we had wanted to go up and grab another plate. This definitely wasn’t a huge issue but it would’ve been preferable because we couldn’t take home our leftovers because our plates got taken, and we were slightly confused due to it being a buffet. But, overall I would rate Jade Buffet a 9/10 and I will definitely be going back.
