The video game Dadish is a 2D indie game that was originally released on IOS on February 11th, 2020. Since then it has been released on a few more platforms, such as Android, Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4 & 5, etc. The latest release was Dadish 4 on Dec. 18th of last year, and there is a Dadish 5 coming up.
This game follows a series as there are spin-offs of the game, such as Dadish 2 and Daily Dadish. The game was published and developed by Thomas K. Young along with CatCut Games. Young has developed more games outside of the Dadish series, such as Dunka Dill, Be Brave Barb, and a few other indie games.
Dadish is a game about a radish that is the father to a bunch of little radish children. At first there’s a visual of Dadish falling asleep, causing all of his kids to run away and go missing, and he goes off to find them once he wakes up. There are five worlds, and ten levels in each world. All the worlds are in a different location, such as a snow mountain and mushroom world. Each level includes obstacles that get harder and harder as you go on, which include evil foods such as killer pizzas and hot dogs, spikes, water, and many more, making each level unique in its own way. At the end of each level, Dadish finds one of his missing kids and they talk for a second until going to the next level. Each level also contains a “hidden” star, which isn’t required to find.
Dadish is one of my all time favorite games to play. It is not only addicting, but every aspect of the game and the art makes it more fun and I see it as a pretty cute game. My rating for Dadish would be a 5/5.
