The student council would like to thank everyone for the participation and support during the Canned Food Drive. Between the money and nonperishable items collected, the high school and middle school were able to provide a significant contribution to our local food bank. The Ovid Food Pride further supported the endeavor by selling cases of needed items at 15% above store cost. Overall, student council delivered an entire bus FULL of can goods, boxes, and other supplies (approximately 2500-3000 items). Leota Kidas, the woman who runs the food bank, cried when the students began unloading the bus and said she has never seen a donation this large! She is so grateful and truly understands the need within the community. Thank you again for all your support!
