On Oct 22 the Ovid Elsie JV Football Team took on Flint Powers Catholic at Atwood Stadium winning this game 14-8. Along with the third week in a row, Cohen Tyler led the Marauders in rushing yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, Beau Price led the team with 7.5 tackles and was closely followed by the linebacker Brayden Miller. For the Marauders, Braxton Stinger had 4 receptions for 73 yards and 2 of the catches resulted in a touchdown to contribute to the Ovid Elsie’s score of 14.
Head Coach Nick Huffnagle when asked about the overall performance of his team he said, “Everyone came out and played aggressive and fast, the offense and defensive lines came out and controlled the game again this week.”
