On Friday Oct. 30 the Ovid-Elsie Varsity football team plays against Almont in Almont in the first round of playoffs. If the Marauders come out with the win this would be the first playoff game win since 2009.

Ovid-Elsie starting quarterback Dylan Carman was asked about how he felt this game was going to go, and said, “I am feeling pretty confident with our team coming off a great week of practice.” The Almont Raiders are coming off a loss in the 2019 state finals at Ford Field to Lansing Catholic Central.

The winner of this game between the Ovid-Elsie Marauders and the Almont Raiders will go on to play Bridgeport or the number 25th ranked team in Michigan, Frankenmuth.
