On Feb. 25th the Ovid-Elsie Marauder Varsity basketball team played against the Byron Eagles home at 7 p.m, for Ovid-Elsies’ senior night.
The Marauders won this game 57-23 with leading scorer Dylan Carman making 6 three pointers with his total points with 18.
On the defensive side of the ball senior Cal Byrnes led the team with 6 steals. The Marauders next play Ithaca away at 7:30 on the 3rd.
On March 8th the Ovid-Elsie Varsity Boys Basketball Team played against Bath at 7 p.m. at home. This was a out of conference game that Bath won 38-34. For the Marauders, Dylan Carman led the team in scoring with 10 points. Jackson Thornton led the team with 6 rebounds and 1 steal
After this game players on Bath tested positive for COVID-19 causing Ovid-Elsie basketball team to go into quarantine until March 19th. Returning that day they will play against Chesaning. They will be missing four games.
