On Wednesday, May 11th, the Ovid-Elsie Varsity golf team took on Durand in Durand at 2 p.m. This was a match just between the two schools and if Ovid-Elsie won this they would secure the conference championship.
Ovid-Elsie ended up losing the first match of the year by 7 strokes. The leading golfer for the Marauders was Tyler Bancroft who led the team with a 42. This leaves Ovid-Elsie now tied in the conference with Durand.
