Thor: Love and Thunder Full of Action and Humor

Alyze Ladiski, Staff writer

Thor: Love and Thunder is about Thor who finds himself on a journey to find inner peace in himself, unlike anything he has ever faced before. But his inner peace was interrupted by a killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who desires the extinction of gods. To help fight the threat, Thor appoints the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster. And to Thor’s surprise she is able to inexplicably wield his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late. The director of this movie is Taika Waititi along with producer Kevin Feige. The main cast of this movie is Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Christian Bale as Gorr, Tessa Thompsom as King Valkyrie, and Taika Waititi as Korg. Rotten Tomatoes rated it 65% and audience 77%. Rotten Tomatoes stated, “In some ways, Thor: Love and Thunder feels like Ragnarok redux — but overall, it offers enough fast-paced fun to make this a worthy addition to the MCU.” Where as the audience said, “Even though Thor: Love and Thunder’s constant silliness makes it hard to invest in the more serious sides of the story, there’s still plenty here to enjoy.” I definitely would rate it a 100%. I thought there was good humor in it and it was full of action pact scenes. So if you enjoy movies that have action and are funny, I would recommend you watch it.
