Personally, I think the album Nostalgia by Rod Wave is terrible. It was released
on Sept. 15th, 2023. The genres are hip-hop and rap but this album makes the rap and
hip-hop industries look bad. It is a disgrace in the rap name.
Rod Wave lacks vocals, some of the lyrics are not too bad I do admit but the
combination of okayish lyrics, bad vocals, and a bad beat makes this album terrible. The worst
songs are Boyz Don’t Cry and Crazy. These songs especially show how horrendous the vocals
are.
This album has featured a very well-known good rapper 21 Savage. You never really
hear about him and Rod Wave, probably because he is embarrassed to be featured in such a
horrible song. This drags his legacy down, people might associate 21 Savage with Rod Wave.
Overall, I give this album a 1/10, I give it a 1 because there are very few aspects that are
good. If someone else published this album and was singing the songs it would maybe sound a
little decent. The vocals are just so bad it ruins the potential.
