Spirit days, court, football games and a dance all in one week? It must be that time of year again, Homecoming! Student Council chose Back To The Future as the theme this year and have been working hard on it the past few weeks.

Spirit Days will be 50s Day, Future Day, Western Day, Blue and Gold Day, and Class Color Day. Freshmen are blue, sophomores are purple, juniors are green, and seniors are pink. Many students enjoy dressing up more than anything for Homecoming week.

For returning students, this week is all about fun. “Last year was okay, but now that I know what to expect, I’m sure this year will be amazing! I have an outfit planned for every day, spirit week is my favorite part,” sophomore Breanna Ladiski said.

For freshmen, Homecoming may be nerve wrecking. There may be confusion in what to wear and what is even happening. Freshman Haley Hilgindorf said “It’s a good theme, even though I’ve never seen the movies, I’m hoping to watch them before next week. I think it’s going to be fun. I’m most looking forward to dressing up.”

This year’s theme was quite easy to settle on. A Student Council meeting last year decided very quickly. Sophomore Johnnie Moore pulled up a list of Homecoming ideas and once he read Back To The Future everyone jumped on the idea. They are looking forward to seeing everyone participate.
