On Oct. 30th the Ovid Elsie Marauders took on the Almont Raiders in Almont for the first round of playoffs. The Marauders losed this game 28-0. For the Marauders the leading passer was quarterback Dylan Carman, and the leading rusher was running back Eddy Evans.

For Almont the leading passer was Brock Conger with 77 passing yards and the leading rusher for the Almont Raiders was Micheal Lulgjuraj with 13 carries and 111 yards.

After the game the Ovid Elsie Head Coach Travis Long said, “It was a good season but we gotta keep working in the offseason if we want to be great.” After this first playoff win, Almont faced off against the ranked number 23 Frankenmuth Eagles. Frankenmuth ended up beating Almont 28-0.
